Step into a fairy-tale setting with a dining experience like no other at our Grill Haus. Tucked away in the enchanting woodland, this charming wood cabin invites you to immerse yourself in its cosy ambience and indulge in a delectable meal prepared by our private chefs.

Whether you're dreaming of an intimate gathering reminiscent of King Arthur's court for up to 10 guests or a casual wedding feast for up to 16, the Grill Haus is the perfect setting. Get comfortable amidst reindeer pelts, scatter cushions, and twinkling fairy lights as we extend a warm welcome to you.

At the Grill Haus, we offer two distinct dining options for your wedding day. For a touch of formality, gather around our impressive oak King Arthur-style round table and witness your feast being cooked over dancing flames (available for up to 10 people only). Alternatively, opt for a more relaxed experience by lounging on cushioned benches and savouring a specially curated tasting menu designed just for you and your guests (available for up to 16 people).

As you indulge in your sumptuous wedding feast, let "Alexa" handle your musical requests via the Amazon Echo, and toast to your joyous occasion (remember, it's a bring-your-own-booze policy at the Grill Haus, ensuring no unexpected bar bills).

Grill Haus Important Bits

Unfortunately for safety reasons the Grill Haus is not suitable for children and babies under the age eight. It is also unsuitable for wedding dresses (due to flames, smoke and cinders).

The Boat House Just 25 minutes away, located on Instow Beach this dog friendly pub/restaurant offers fabulous views over towards Appledore from its Top Deck or cosy restaurant.

The Mole Resort This stunning country hotel offers 2 award-winning restaurants for guests to choose from; The Devon View Restaurant and The Cellars Restaurant. Couples looking for an evening of fine dining can enjoy a delectable meal overlooking the stunning nearby valley while a more casual but equally delectable dining experience is on offer at The Cellars.

The Globe Inn Earning the title ‘North Devon Pub of the Year’ in 2020, you won’t be disappointed with a trip to The Globe Inn. Serving great food inside and out, this friendly local pub is one for the weekend and a great place to catch up with friends and family after your special day.
