Q. We are eloping, do you provide witnesses?
Yes, we would love to be your witnesses! There is no charge as its our pleasure.
Q. Are you dog friendly?
Yes, we love dogs! Tree Top Escape accommodation welcomes two well behaved dogs at an additional charge of £50 each. Extra dogs are also welcome to attend your ceremony in the nest. Find out more about our Dog Friendly Weddings.
Q. Can we visit Tree Top Escape?
95% of our couples don’t visit as they love to keep it as a surprise for when they arrive and get that WOW when you first see Tree Top Escape. As Tree Top Escape in an exclusive use venue we are very limited on when we are able to offer visits so like to send information via email and have a good chat on the phone first.
Q. Can I choose suppliers that are not on your list?
Sadly not, we only allow suppliers from your dedicated suppliers list. This includes everything from photographers, hair and beauty, cakes to catering. All of our recommended suppliers know Tree Top Escape very well and will ensure your day runs smoothly. We believe using our supplier's list is the best way to ensure you receive an organised, memorable and stress-free day.
Q. There are 5 of us, can you accommodate an extra person?
Tree Top Escape can only cater for 4 people; therefore we are unable to accept bookings for more than 4 individuals staying in the accommodation. We have a list of recommended local accommodation for any additional guests.
Q. What time should my ceremony be?
There isn’t a set time that you should have your ceremony, it’s your decision. We do recommend a lunchtime ceremony for a relaxing morning, and plenty of time in the afternoon for photos and exploring the grounds. .
Q. Do children count within the maximum guest numbers?
Yes, children are counted within the guest numbers if they require a seat. Babies in arms do not count in your guest numbers but do need to be considered if choosing Fine Dining in the Nest for space. .
Q. Do we have to stay onsite at Tree Top Escape after our ceremony?
No! We have a list of fantastic places to eat, including private function rooms, if you’d prefer to take the celebrations off site.
Q. Where should our guests stay?
We have a list of local accommodation you can pass on to your guests - you can find it HERE.
Q. We have 15 guests, can we squeeze in an additional guest?
The maximum number of guests for weddings at Tree Top Escape is 14. Sadly, there isn’t the space to exceed these numbers.
Q. Should I check the registrars have availability first?
Before contacting the registrars, please ensure you’ve had a conversation with us first, this is to ensure that we have availability on your preferred date, and we can explain the process of booking the registrars.
Q. Is the Nest decoration included in the wedding package?
The Nest is a blank canvas for you to create your wedding, your way. We have many couples that leave the nest as it is leaving the view as the WOW factor. However, if you do want to add your own style, we have fantastic stylists on our suppliers list that can help to bring your vision to life, or if you choose, add your own personal touches. Q. Do you have a bar?
No, we don’t have a bar. However, the good news is we also don’t have a corkage fee so you can bring along as much as you like (we don’t judge!).
Q. Can we feed the alpacas? Is there an additional charge?
Yes, our Alpaca’s love meeting guests. There isn’t an additional charge to do this, please just let us know if you’d like it to be part of your day..
Q. Can we get married outside?
Yes, Tree Top Escape has so many wonderful outdoor spots from the beautiful garden to intimate woodland area for your ceremony. If inclement weather means an outdoor ceremony isn’t possible, the Nest is available for your ceremony..
Q. Is Tree Top Escape accessible?
Yes, Tree Top Escape is accessible with a ramp to the Nest and rear door of the Tree House. Please take a look at our accessibility page.
